BB-14 Stationary System Installation

  1. Make sure area where BB-14 is to be assembled is on level ground and enough room provided for future maintenance.
  2. Bolt both sections of BB-14 metal frames together using the two existing bolts provided.
  3. Place pump (provided) in secondary pit and plumb with minimum 1″ PVC schedule 40 pipe to the inlet fitting on the lower (filtration) tank.
    • Be sure the included check valve is incorporated in this line, preferably near the pump.
    • If installing Pre-Settle Tank system, plumb to system first then to the filtration box.
  4. Connect 1″ minimum PVC schedule 40 from the discharge side of outside polishing filters to the in-line chlorinator on shelf provided on the lower part of the tall stand.
  5. Plumb from the discharge side of the in-line chlorinator to the upper back side of reserve water holding tank with 1″ PVC schedule 40 pipe and fittings provided.
  6. Connect pressure washer using the 1″ threaded fitting provided on the underside of the reserve water supply tank. (Usually a rubber hose is used here.) This can vary from each installation’s preference.
  7. Fill chlorinator at least half full of Trichlor tablets and adjust to tinge of chlorine odor. This will take some time to adjust to individual use.
  8. Fill filtration tank (lower) to capacity and reserve water holding tank (upper) at least halfway with fresh water.
  • Enough PVC fittings are provided for a standard installation. Additional 1″ PVC pipe may be required depending how far from the wash rack the system is being installed.
